Quick Release

Before using the control bar you MUST fully understand how the quick release works and are confident in releasing and re-engaging the quick release system. We recommend releasing and re-engaging the safety release at least 6 times to familiarize yourself.

Swivel

Simply spin the swivel in the reversed direction the lines are twisted in. It is important to keep your lines twist free to ensure the kite flags freely.

Trim Handle

Simply grab and pull. If you have your kite fully trimmed, open the velcro loop and close around the depower rope so it does not dangle and get tangled.

Cleat

Simple cleat system. Push in to engage and pull out to disengage.

Loop Stick

Hook your harness hook to the loop then push your loop stick into the harness hook under the loop. To disengage reverse this process.

Mini Kite Leash

Simple push away releases and easy re-engage. Connect the mini kite lease to your harness in an easy to reach place for easy access.

Flag Your Kite

Ensure you have adequate clear space downwind of you. Release your Quick Release and the kite will simply fall to the ground. The kite may flip around a little before coming to a complete rest.

High Split

Some kites are tuned to perform best with a high front line split. To uses the high split simply attach the loop ring to the high connection point and thread the opposite front line through the ring.

If you are using the control bar at the standard split setting simply remove the high split loop ring.

Connect your 5th line

The simplest way to connect your 5th line is to thread the 5th line around the center part of the Trim Bracket and pull tight.
