I've got the 8 and 10m H3, and have about an hour on each so far. I'm 162 lbs and ride a 5'1" vader in the waves (don't do twin tips, not into strapless jumping, and never tried foiling). Had Element 5's (9 and 11m) and before that Element 3's and both of those kites were total game-changers for me, making surfing with a kite so much better and more fun and allowing me to push my limits.
I just took out my new 6m Element 6 and I absolutely love it. I went out in the the surf with winds around 30+ knots and man it was fun! the kite is super friendly, drifts very well and has a lot of power for the size. I jumped 12m (recoded by Woo) and the landings were very smooth and with a lot of hang time (almost like the nitro) so you can relax and control the landings nicely after a big jump without plummeting down. I think the switch team nailed it with this kite!
Wow, Ive been riding for over 10 years on different model kites ( Cab SB). The Nitro 9m is a dream kite for me! Turns fast, lightish bar, jumps great, soft landings, and it has a great low end. I'm a bigger guy and it is fine for me in 18 knots +. I haven't ridden it at it's top end yet but I can just tell by how it feels that this 9m will take me from 18 to possibly 34 Knots. Now that is what I can wind range if it happens. I'm blown away by its smoothness. I can't fault it. It depends on your riding style of course. For TT, bump n boost, it is a dream come true. I'll be getting some other sizes!
